Do i need DASH KIT FOR MY 96 CADDY DEVILLE?
i have a sony car stereo and i cant get it out. i have the removal keys, actually the stereo is brand new. i insert the removal keys and they click into place. then when i try and pull the stereo out by the keys or the stereo itself, the thing won't budge. the whole dash starts to flex before the deck even moves. any ideas?

Everything is hooked up correctly, but no power to amp or sub. No green or red light will come on. Why would it do this? Wiring diagram coming out of the dash into the stero what does all the colors mean? I'm slowly working on upgrading the audio in my Wrangler.

Everything is stock for the stereo system.

I was wondering what the RMS watts and the peak output was for the factory stereo.

I cant find that info anywhere. Im thinking about first upgrading the reciever.

Im looking at a Sony CDX-GT340. it has an RMS rating of 17w x 4 and a peak output of 52w x 4. Just a few questions about how to deal with wires on my new sony unit. The wires tha.

I don't know what to do with are: illumination dash light, dimmer, power antenna, remote antenna, and amp remote.

Everything works properly and there are no matching wires to connect to. The remote wires are supposed to be single right.

Also is taping the end safe enough.

I am wiring up a Sony cd player in my Dodge Durango.

All the wires are hooked up except for the orange wire coming from the wiring harness of the truck. The harness of the cd player has no place to hook up this wire. The cd player will not turn on unles.

I touch the orange wire to power, however even when the cd player is on my lights in my dash will not light up. Will someone please help? What a.
